Architects - Ruin

Architects are a math-metal band from Brighton, UK.
I never really bothered with them that much but my band played with them last year and seeing them live afterwards changed my mind lol
seriously fucking intense.
Some bands try really hard to put emotion in their music (see BMTH) and it just doesn’t work, but with Architects i really get the feeling they’re putting everything into it.
It’s brilliant.
Plus Sam Carters voice is visceral as fuck.

Really good album, enjoy.
The new album ‘Hollow Crown’ is released January 2009. Can’t wait!

Purely for egotistical purposes.

Last week i finally managed to buy a weight bench. Since i stopped going to Thai-boxing / Jujitsu i’ve become amazingly unfit & it’s always been on my mind. Plus i’m very bored of being skinny.
So this is the first week of a workout regime and i couldnt be happier i’m finally back getting fit :D!.
I’ll be taking pictures of myself to document progress etc.
My goal is to actually look good in a yellow t-shirt i’ve had for the past 3 fucking years and hardly ever wear because i don’t think it looks good on me atm

Got the weight-bench 13/11/08.

Mid-Workout week one! :]]]!
May not look much now, but all in good time friends, all in good time :].

Obama Picks CFR Insider to Head Treasury

Change. HA
Just as American scientists brought German ones back to work for them after WW2 it seems the administration still see’s nothing wrong with hiring criminals.

Geithner was a senior fellow in the Economics Department of the Council on Foreign Relations and director of the Policy Development and Review Department at the International Monetary Fund. After obtaining an M.A. in International Economics and East Asian Studies from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies in 1985, Geithner went to work for Kissinger and Associates. In 1988, he joined the International Affairs division of the U.S. Treasury Department and was named president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 2003. He is also a member of the Rockefeller “financial advisory body,” the Group of Thirty, an organization comprised of members from the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, the Federal Reserve, Citicorp and Citibank, the China Construction Bank, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase, in short the very heart of the international banking elite.

In June, Gary Weiss wrote that Geithner was a “central figure” in the “drama” that was J.P. Morgan Chase acquisition of Bear Stearns. “It was Geithner’s Federal Reserve bank, not the Treasury, that came up with the $29 billion loan that made the deal possible or, more precisely, acceptable to J.P. Morgan.” In other words, Geithner was taking orders directly from the international bankers. He is also cozy with AIG, Lehman, and Goldman Sachs.

Obama’s choice of a Federal Reserve, CFR, and Rockefeller insider reveals there will be no change for the plebs, but more of the same and then some — a continuation of pillage and debt slavery. It means we will continue to be subjected to international monetary and trade agreements at the behest of the international bankers and the corporatists. It means our sovereignty will be further eroded and the self-perpetuating cycle of borrowing will continue. It means the bankster plan to loot the country, consolidate wealth, and turn the United States into a third world country based on the China slave labor gulag model will move forward.

It’s change we can believe in.

Emolution.

Was at my dads at the weekend and i went through iphoto on the mac.
Found some very interesting photos, there’s a timeline of sorts showing me all the way back to 2004 before i fully got into the emo fashion (i already liked the music, i just had no idea what it was connected to, the term post-hardcore meant nothing to me lol)
So yea, if you’ve ever wondered. Here it is:

2/5/04

Me on the left in the savier t-shirt, must have been about 15 at this point? Was after a battle of the bands in which mine “The Captured” came second (due to the band who won being on the judging panel no less. We were your normal school rock band but we were diverging into screamy territory, we later went on to cover Taking Back Sunday & Funeral For A Friend.

24/7/04

Hippy Jump :]. First pair of skate shoes lol DC Spectres. Still skate today :D!

Still an emotional fuck, but i’m an art student so it’s alright i’m meant to be.

Smell Bacon?

PIG DESTROYER - TERRIFYER
hard to genrelise, an amalgamation of grind, death & punk.
legendary band.

“While the band’s earliest works (captured conveniently on the lo-fi 38 Counts Of Battery) mostly focused on blast beats and screaming - the two pillars of the genre, Terrifyer eschews those conventions and incorporates a more dirty, punk-inflected sound with their rapid fire assault. The band itself seems hesitant to describe themselves as grindcore, or even metal, as the vocalist explains that “I have always considered us a punk band or a hardcore band” and nowhere is that more evident than throughout Terrifyer, which seems to take much from Stooges-style punk rock and old school thrash.”

No Rest For The Wicked.

Carrying on from yesterdays unholy inspired post we have Crucified
Northern Californian Hardcore ready to rot your soul with lyrics about the countries hidden elite, brilliant angry stuff.
They cite their influences as:
All Out War, Alone in a Crowd, Buried Alive, Cold As Life, Killing Time, Left For Dead, Merauder, Mushmouth, Ringworm

“They have ties to your Government, Religion, and personal property; the very things they set out to destroy. Ignorance is not a bliss, only a weakness. Make no mistake about it, the Order is alive and well.”

On and On, South Of Heaven.

Whilst trying to find the website for the guy who did the most notable Slayers album covers ( Larry Carroll.)
I was reminded of the paintings by Hieronymous Bosch & Francisco Goya,
i’m going to have to start reading into these two as both there styles really interest me

“Saturn Devouring His Son” by Goya.

An exert from the triptych ‘The Garden Of Earthly Delights’ by Bosch.

Weird remarks from Washington.

What do Biden & Powell know that we don’t?
both have said extremely weird things of late relating to a possible attack on Obama (if elected) during the first few months of his presidency.

Biden:

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you - not financially to help him - we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Not only will the next administration have to deal with foreign affairs issues, Biden warned, but also with the current economic crisis.

“Gird your loins,” Biden told the crowd. “We’re gonna win with your help, God willing, we’re gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It’s like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than think about it, literally, think about it this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy.”

Powell gives us a possible date:

“There’s going to be a crisis come along on January 21,22 that we don’t even know about…”

Both from HERE

Bidens is very strange indeed but Powells presents the problem to me.
His is possibley the most contradictory statement i’ve ever read, and this isn’t just some unknown saying this, this is the SECRETARY OF STATE announcing it.
worrying indeed?

It is also made worse by the fact that it has further come to light that the Director Of National Intelligence said that the president-elect’s excitement

“is going to be dampened somewhat when he begins to focus on the realities of the myriad of changes and challenges we are going to face in the future.”
One of those “challenges” include the prospect of an attack by a biological agent, which he said might “create casualties greater than 9/11.

I am only covering the tip of the iceberg here, this is a lot more related to Biological weapons, Bush & his scary Directive 51 and strange death for scientists
HERE

Please try to read it, it’s detailed and presents some scary information.
There are no coincidences when it comes to Governments.
